SFC (Specialty Furniture Carriers)

Advantages:
Very cost effective, especially when shipping to a business
Residential deliveries come with a blue glove service, which includes unpacking and inside setup. Can often use manufacturer’s packing and simply ship it on from your warehouse.
Requirements:
Furniture should be boxed with inner corner protectors inside.
 

LTL (Less Than Truckload)

Advantages:
Can be done relatively quickly (3-5 business days)
Is one of the most economical ways to ship large bulky items. Other services include guaranteed service, residential and lift gate services
Requirements:
Furniture should be boxed with corner posts, palletized and strapped down.

Blanket Wrap

Advantages:
No packing required. Carrier provides all necessary protection. Best service for high valued items.

Truckload
