Operation Mail for Freedom (OMF) provides local citizens with free options to mail to local servicemembers deployed by Operation Enduring Freedom. This campaign provides the community with the ability to mail to local servicemembers, who will be very grateful for the mail.

How It Works
Your local Neighborhood Postal Center® provides free postage for letters mailed to local deployed servicemembers. A list of names of local deployed servicemembers is available from your local Neighborhood Postal Center. You write a letter to a local serviceperson, thanking them and bringing them news of home and take your letter to a neighborhood Postal Center.

Why YOUR Letters Are Important
Servicemembers deployed far from home are helping to preserve the freedoms that Americans enjoy. They need our support to let them know we¹re behind them all the way. Community members now have a low cost way to show their support for Operation Enduring Freedom and for local deployed servicemembers. This program was highly regarded during the Gulf War, and your local Neighborhood Postal Center is proud to be involved in this national effort again. All we need are your letters to our local servicemembers to make the program work. Our local servicemembers will appreciate any words from home.
